Reed Sheppard might be done playing for the Kentucky Wildcats, but he’s not done being involved with the Big Blue Nation.

On Friday, Sheppard announced the “Reed Sheppard Fantasy Experience”, which will run from August 23-24 inside Rupp Arena. Similar to the Fantasy Camps that KSR’s Jack Pilgrim attended over the years under the previous coaching staff, the Reed Sheppard Fantasy Experience looks to provide the same level of entertainment for those lucky enough to attend.

“Whether you’re an avid basketball player or just a die-hard fan, our Fantasy Camp offers an unforgettable experience tailored to all skills-levels,” the camp website reads. “Ball out in the evaluation game and skills contest, run on the same hardwood as the stars during 5v5 play, mingle with Kentucky greats past and present, and climb the ladder to cut down the net after winning a Championship.

“Make lasting memories and be a part of something special.”

There are two separate packages available — and you’ll need to whip out the checkbook if you want to participate. The Playing Package costs $2,500 while the Coaching Package also costs $2,500. For the Playing Package, you must be 30 years of age or older. The Coaching Package requires a minimum age of 21 years old.

Friday (August 23) will include the orientation, draft, games, and a tip-off reception while Saturday (August 24) features the championship tournament, award ceremony, a charity auction, and a “Faith Day”.

By the time this Fantasy Camp takes place, Sheppard will be nearly two months into his NBA career. After a surprising one-and-done season at Kentucky, Sheppard is a projected Top 5-10 pick in this month’s 2024 NBA Draft, which is set for June 26-27.
