For the first time in five years, Florida State baseball is heading back to the College World Series in Omaha. The Seminoles beat the Connecticut Huskies 10-8 in 12 innings behind the heroics of ACC Player of the Year James Tibbs.

After the game — and after a giant dogpile (see below) on the mound of Mike Martin Field — FSU’s Link Jarrett, James Tibbs and Conner Whittaker spoke to the media. UConn head coach Jim Penders and selected players also spoke to the press shortly after their season ended.

Watch both interviews and scroll below for the postgame celebration on the mound and with the fans in the Dick Howser Stadium stands.

And remember to check in with Warchant all week for coverage on the Seminoles’ trip out to the College World Series.
