There are many in Big Blue nation showing their support for the Kentucky Wildcats as they continue their quest to finish the 2024 season as national champions. And one of those individuals showing big-time love is former Wildcats big man and former NCAA player of the year Oscar Tshiebwe.

Tshiebwe joined the current cast of Kentucky men’s basketball coaches, players, and affiliates at their opening game of the Lexington Super Regional against the Oregon State Beavers. Tshiebwe went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. But he would resume his controlling post-play once he landed with the Indiana Mad Ants, the G-league affiliate of the Indiana Pacers. In his first year as a professional, it has translated to him winning a significant award as a rookie. The NBA G-League recently named Tshiebwe Rookie of the Year. He took home the award with averages of 16.4 points and 16.1 rebounds on 55.9% shooting in his 23 games with the team this season.

With Tshiebwe in the house look for the Kentucky players on the field to try and channel his dominance on the hardwood and translate it into a Game 1 victory over Oregon State.
