New cafe Breakfast and Brownies opening on Heacham High Street will bring ‘down-to-earth environment’ with ‘proper coffee’

A new cafe which will give people the opportunity to relax in a “down-to-earth environment” is set to open soon.

Breakfast and Brownies will be setting up shop at 28 High Street in Heacham, with a grand opening to the public on Saturday, June 22.

The new cafe comes as part of a partnership with Simply Cake Co based in Lynn. It will be serving a host of their goodies, along with breakfast options including rolls, loaded hashbrowns, gourmet toasties, and fresh pastries.

The business will be aiming to offer a simple yet indulgent menu, using quality ingredients.

Susie Ayres, 30, who is the founder of both Simply Cake Co and Breakfast and Brownies, decided to open up this new venture in Heacham as she thinks it is a “lovely village with a fantastic community”.

Her business partner Sarah Pitt, 40, lives close-by to the new cafe with her family.

The pair both want to create the sort of cafe they would like to visit themselves - “a family-friendly, down-to-earth environment where you can come with your friends or family and enjoy some delicious food and perhaps more importantly, a proper coffee”.

They have been working together for five years and decided it was time to step in a new direction and open a more permanent location for people to enjoy their products.
