Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover named Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee as his final four schools last month.
But one program is gaining steam as we head deeper into June: the in-state Bulldogs.
Glover took his official visit to Athens over the weekend, and coming out of that trip, Georgia has received an expert pick in the Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) to land him from On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
He has been eyeing a summer commitment, as he told On3 earlier this spring, and this visit appears it could go a long way in the decision.
“For me, every visit is important. I want to build strong relationships and see where I fit in at. The relationships and how I fit into the system are key when I commit,” Glover told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons.
Florida State, another of his finalists, had been seen as the leader for Glover over the past few months. But the push from the in-state school made Georgia a contender even before the visit this weekend.
He visited UGA for the first time in April and then returned just a few days later.
“I love it, it’s something like home,” he told DawgsHQ.com’s Jeremy Johnson. “I watched them practice Tuesday and told myself I got to come see these guys on Saturday.”
Glover is the No. 303 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 22 interior offensive lineman and No. 35 prospect in the Peach State.
