The Clemson Tigers and Florida Gators have been in an absolute marathon of a baseball game in their Super Regional matchup on Sunday. Clemson’s Alden Mathes launched a pivotal solo shot in the top of the 13th inning, putting the Tigers up 10-9. He was fired up about the solo blast, as you might, imagine, and spiked his bat fiercely to the ground as he walked down the first base line. That’s when things got interesting.

In the aftermath of the bat spike, Clemson assistant coach Jack Leggett was ejected from the game. Once he was tossed, Tigers head coach Erik Bakich came out to argue the ejection and he was tossed in the process.

Both coaches will now be suspended for two games for their ejections, according to the ESPNU broadcast.
