Drones attacked a Russian tugboat and barge in Taganrog bay. The barge was damaged, and the tug's captain decided to return to the port, Russian media outlet Baza reports.

According to the agency, the attack on the tugboat Inzhener Smirnov and the barge Sectsia 179 took place on the evening of June 8.

In the evening, the tug's captain reported that as a result of the attack, the barge had damage above the waterline, and the tug's windows were broken. Two crew members also received shrapnel wounds.

The tug's driving performance was not lost, and the captain decided to return to the port of Azov in the Rostov region of Russia, the report says.

Russian troops are trying to defend the Crimean bridge and have pulled 8 barges to it. According to UK intelligence, the previously installed structures were damaged by storms, which reduced their effectiveness.

Earlier it was reported that the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed a Russian tugboat Saturn of Project 498 in Crimea with marine drones.
