Donald Trump's increasingly strident claims about to go after his enemies has led to a warning from former White House attorney Ty Cobb.

Trump, in a multitude of recent interviews on conservative networks, has been to the point where Fox News host Sean Hannity tried to coax him into walking back some of his rhetoric .

As NBC News is reporting, the former president has been hinting at revenge for months but he has taken it to a new level since his conviction in a Manhattan courtroom of 34 felony counts of business fraud with sentencing scheduled for July 11.

According to the report, "Trump has done at least five interviews since his guilty verdict. In all five, he has talked about possible retribution," adding, "On Tuesday, in an interview with the conservative outlet Newsmax, Trump seemed to float the possibility of imprisoning his political opponents if he becomes president again."

Reflecting on the former president's increasingly unhinged desire for retribution, Cobb claimed the public should take him at his word and that he sees a change in his former boss.

“I think there should be concern,” he remarked. “From a 30,000 foot view, what I see is Trump angrier now than he was before because he is convicted now.”

To back up his argument, he cited the Fox interview, pointing out, "Even Hannity recognized that this was dangerous territory and tried to reel him in. Trump would have none of it.”
