In Switzerland, there is an increase in the number of cyber attacks and disinformation campaigns ahead of the Global Peace Summit on Ukraine, which will take place on June 15-16, informs Reuters.
As reported by the agency, Swiss President Viola Amherd stated that cyber attacks and disinformation campaigns have increased in recent weeks.
Also, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis, there is a clear interest in disrupting the Peace Summit. However, the minister avoided answering who exactly is behind the attacks when asked whether Russia is involved.
Reuters notes that a total of 90 countries and organizations have confirmed their participation in the Peace Summit. Approximately half of them are from South America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

On June 15-16, the Global Peace Summit will take place in Switzerland.
