The second of three groups officially visiting Notre Dame this month started arriving in South Bend on Monday. Among them was four-star safety JaDon Blair, who got into town around 5:30 p.m. ET.

Blair’s father, mother and at least one sibling accompanied him to Notre Dame for a highly-anticipated official visit. Monday marked the start of the third trip to campus for the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 155 overall recruit in the 2025 class.

Chicago Simeon Career Academy EDGE Christopher Burgess greeted Blair upon arriving on campus. Burgess, a 2025 class four-star prospect, has been verbally committed to the Fighting Irish since Jan. 6. He’s the No. 97 overall player, No. 14 EDGE nationally and No. 4 prospect in Illinois per the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.

Also the No. 15 safety nationally and No. 5 prospect in North Carolina per the On3 Industry Ranking, Blair previously unofficially visited Notre Dame for the football program’s end-of-summer recruiting event last July, the Ohio State game on Sept. 23 and a four-day unofficial visit in mid-April.

The NCAA permits high school seniors one official visit per university unless there is a head coaching change. Then, a recruit could return to campus for a second official visit.

So far, the 6-foot-4½, 195-pound Blair has officially visited Virginia Tech, Louisville, and South Carolina. After his trip to Notre Dame, Blair is scheduled to officially visit Michigan (June 14-16), Florida State (June 18-20) and Penn State (June 21-24).
