Oklahoma softball’s Savannah Geurin, Quincee Lilio and Avery Hodge enter NCAA transfer portal

Three Oklahoma softball players have entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday. Savannah Geurin, Quincee Lilio and Avery Hodge will all move on to new programs for the 2025 season.

Hodge had the biggest role of any of the three players to appear in 63 games with 25 starts this past season, including four in the Women’s College World Series. She recorded 21 hits with a batting average of .284. The former No. 6 prospect in the 2022 class according to Extra Inning Softball, she also played 56 games as a freshman in 2023.

Hodge went a combined 4-for-10 in her plate appearances during the WCWS in helping lead the Sooners to their fourth straight national title. She tied her season high with two hits in a win against Florida to reach the finals.

Lilio, the No. 5 player in the 2022 class, played only 41 games this past season and finished with four hits. Geurin is a left-handed pitcher who appeared in nine games after redshirting the 2023 season.
