How the Celtic fans are tempting £15m Premier League player with Parkhead switch

The transfer rumour mill is certainly starting to ramp up over the last week or so.

Just this morning we discussed rumours about Celtic being interested in Martin Dubravka as Brendan Rodgers seeks to address the hole in the team created by the departed Joe Hart.

We have also discussed Celtic rumoured to be strengthening their backline with an interest in Bournemouth defender Chris Mepham.

And coupled with potential transfer exits, this summer is going to be a very busy one for the Celtic fans to keep up with.

So to keep up with the transfer trend, we are now going to discuss a report that suggests a £15m Premier League player could be tempted to make a summer switch to Glasgow.

Coaimhin Kellher Celtic rumours continue

Coaimhin Kelleher is a player who has been linked to Celtic for months now. The Liverpool goalkeeper looked well out of the frame at Anfield until an injury to first-choice ‘keeper Alisson thrust him back into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

However, according to HITC, Kelleher is still ‘tempted’ by a move to the Scottish champions as he is ‘intrigued’ at the prospect of playing Champions League football in front of a packed Celtic Park.

An English League Cup winner, the Republic of Ireland international enjoyed a resurgence of form during Alisson’s absence but Kelleher also knows that the Brazilian No. 1 is the first choice at the club.

With a price tag of between £15-£20m being floated as enough to land the 25-year-old, it seemed that any deal now would be far too rich for the Scottish champions.

The report also claims that Celtic ‘hope’ a deal can be done but they are worried that Liverpool could demand more than £15m for the former Champions League winner.

I am sure there will be more twists and turns to these rumours as the summer goes on and it is one that we will be keeping a very close eye on in the coming weeks.
