Ariana Madix has revealed on Love Island USA that she “prefers someone she loves to cook for her” even though she can whip up a meal in the kitchen. And yet, her cheating ex worked with food.
It’s been a busy year for Ariana Madix! She’s now the host of the world’s top dating show, Love Island, after her boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, of nine years cheated on her with former friend, Rachel Leviss.
Ariana Madix prefers to be cooked for
During a Love Island USA season 6 tour, Ariana answers 24 questions as the Peacock show’s new host. When asked by narrator, Ian Stirling, if she enjoys cooking, she gives a ground-breaking answer.
“I prefer someone I love to cook for me, but I mean, this legit herb garden is making things tempting,” she admits, before adding that her go-to meal is “sandwiches,” (duh, she has her own sandwich shop!).
Ariana’s type on paper is “a man in finance,” as well as someone with a trust fund, 6ft 5in, blue eyes, AKA nothing like her ex, Tom, who sings and has dark eyes, but earns enough for $20K a month bills.
Tom Sandoval’s work in food industry
Firstly, Tom has stakes in two restaurants: TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy’s. He also used to make omelettes on Vanderpump Rules all the time, which led to fans basically throwing up.
He once said he’s been working in the food industry for 25 years and claimed his infamous egg white omelettes are loved by celebrities, but his experience with cooking does go back to childhood.
Sandoval started working in the fish fry at his church at nine years old. He later went on to work at Lisa Vanderpump‘s SUR eatery, which is what the Bravo show was originally centred on.
Love Island USA host spills tea
Ariana chooses weight-lifting over yoga and advises the islanders to “keep it real and wear sunscreen.” She prefers smores to hot dogs over a camp fire while much preferring a sunset to sunrise.
However, the party girl admits she does like a sunrise if she’s stayed up all night. She also dishes that her being the host is the best thing about season 6, as well as the “incredible brand new villa”.
