Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko.
The Gunners are expected to be on the market for a new striker, and the Slovenia international was viewed by many as our top target going into the summer transfer window.
However, reports have emerged that Sesko is now set to stay at RB Leipzig – he will not be joining Arsenal or any other interested club in this window.

Sesko checked a lot of boxes for Arsenal.
He is young, has immense potential and because of his age, Arteta wouldn’t have had to make him a guaranteed starter if he was brought in.
With Sesko no longer an option this summer, Arsenal need to move on, and we feel Victor Osimhen should be the priority now.
Yes, the Nigerian is not a young prospect like Sesko and will cost considerably more – his release clause has been set at £112 million.
But, Osimhen is a proven goalscorer who will instantly push to the next level. He could well be the difference in the Premier League title race in the 2024/25 season.
Reports have claimed that Napoli would consider Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu in a players-plus-cash swap deal for Osimhen this summer.
That could bring the striker’s price down, which would make him affordable for Arsenal this summer.
Deciding against making a move for Osimhen could prove to be a huge mistake, especially if he ends up moving to one of Arsenal’s rivals.
Osimhen, a player Thierry Henry called ‘crazy‘, will enter the final two years of his Napoli contract in July.
