A jury has found US President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden guilty on all three charges in a federal gun trial, several media outlets reported on Tuesday, citing journalists in the courtroom.
The sentence will be announced by the judge in charge, Maryellen Noreika, at a later date.
The 12 jurors retired to deliberate on Monday afternoon after the prosecution and defence finished presenting their evidence.
In the trial in the city of Wilmington in the state of Delaware, Hunter Biden was accused of making false statements when buying a gun in October 2018 and concealing his drug addiction at the time.
He could face up to 25 years in prison. However, it is unclear how severe a sentence the judge responsible would hand down, as Hunter Biden has no criminal record.
Hunter Biden has been making headlines for years. In addition to alcoholism and drug addiction, he has also been involved in dubious business deals and legal disputes with a former stripper over child support for an illegitimate child.
He has also been indicted in the state of California for allegedly failing to pay federal taxes properly for several years.
The president did not appear in the courtroom, but various other family members showed solidarity, including Hunter's stepmother, First Lady Jill Biden.
The US president previously said that he would not pardon his son in the event of a conviction.
