In this edition, Inside Texas tackles the latest from top targets Dakorien Moore, Riley Pettijohn, John Mills, Dijon Lee, Lamont Rogers, and more before their official trips to Austin on Friday.
The staff begins with Moore, the five-star pass-catcher from Duncanville (Texas). After OVs to Baton Rouge and Columbus, he’s set to see Austin again for the fourth time in 2024. Moore and Texas continue to trend in a positive direction, with his impending visit to Oregon next week his last trip before making his decision.
IT dives into California product and four-star cornerback Dijon Lee. Alabama and Georgia are the lead dogs in this recruitment, but Lee is making a midweek visit this week after not seeing Austin over the last 18 months.Steve Sarkisian is shooting his shot here with the West Coast native.
Offensive linemen get attention with the latest on five-star Michael Fasusi, four-star Rogers, and three-star Mills. Fasusi will be in Austin next week, while Rogers may be trending to Missouri or Texas A&M.
Top linebacker target Pettijohn has seen Ohio State officially, and now he’ll hit the ATX. He still has an OV to College Station on June 21-23, but the IT staff believes Texas can lock down Pettijohn with a strong weekend on the Forty Acres.
