QUACK: Oregon Lands Three-Star Offensive Line Commit

Demetri Manning

For the second straight day Oregon has landed another offensive line commit to its 2025 class. This time it’s one much closer to the city of Eugene.

Bellevue (Wash.) offensive lineman Demetri Manning has committed to Oregon over Miami, Arkansas, UCLA, Washington and others. The 6-foot-5, 345-pounder is the No. 645 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. While he’s not as highly ranked as many others on Oregon’s board, the Ducks found a fit in Manning and what he brings to the table.

His commitment comes just after his official visit to Oregon. Manning will likely not take any other visits following his decision.

Here is what Manning told our own Max Torres’ about his recent visit.

“I would say the trip out to Eugene this past weekend was a great experience,” Manning said. “I think every single time I go down to Eugene, it’s something new and there’s no sugarcoating anything. It”s what you’re going to get.

“They don’t guarantee that you’re going to play, but they guarantee you best man’s up. So for me, I like that. I don’t want to have anything that’s given to me. I want everything earned, ’cause that’s the only way you’re going to be able to get developed and make it to the next level. But overall, this past weekend, this visit was amazing, excuse that, phenomenal. I think phenomenal is a better word.”

The Ducks now have two offensive line commits in the 2025 class. On Monday four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison was the first to join the group.

Oregon now has 9 verbal commits in the 2025 class. The Ducks recruiting class currently ranks in the top ten of the On3 recruiting rankings.
