Norway to allocate 240 million euros for Patriots and missiles for Ukraine

Norway's contribution to the purchase of the Patriot system and 100 missiles for Ukraine amounts to 125 million euros, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.

"Today, confirmed that it, together with Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands will finance re-procurement of a Patriot system so that 100 Patriot missiles can be quickly donated to Ukraine. Norway will contribute € 125 M to this cooperation," the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

On June 11, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that his country, together with its allies, is providing Ukraine with 100 missiles for the Patriot air defense systems.

In April, it became known that Germany would send another Patriot system to Ukraine.
