Buying an electric toothbrush is arguably the best investment for day-to-day dental care. But they’re not always the most travel-friendly devices and it’s tempting to pack a manual toothbrush instead. That’s why we were excited to spot Aldi’s £9.99 model, which would be ideal to take on holiday.
Aldi has a history of sell-out tech deals, and the Ambiano electric toothbrush could be the latest of these.

What makes it perfect for holidays is that it comes with a slim travel case, which will be easy to pack and should stop it from switching on in your suitcase.

And, as it’s battery operated, you won’t need to worry about lugging a charger along, or your brush running out of juice halfway through your trip.
The Ambiano features a two-minute brushing timer and three vibration modes: 8,000, 10,000 and 12,000 vibrations per minute. Two brush heads and batteries are also included.

Still, this wouldn’t be our recommendation for an electric toothbrush for everyday use. Ideally, an electric toothbrush should have a two-minute timer and a pressure sensor. Sonic brushes should manage at least 24,000-40,000 vibrations per minute – or more.
