Two teenagers have been arrested after a scooter was stolen outside a parade of shops.
The vehicle was swiped from its owner in Faversham Road, Kennington, between 7pm on Thursday and 1am on Friday.
It happened by a row of shops including Marino’s Fish Bar and Ashford Dry Cleaners.
Following an investigation, police have arrested two people on suspicion of theft.
A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon.
He has since been released on conditional bail.
A 15-year-old boy was also arrested later the same day and remains in custody while inquiries continue.
Meanwhile, the scooter has since been recovered.
