Turkiye to participate in Peace Summit: Who will go to Switzerland from Ankara

Turkiye's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, will represent the country at the Global Peace Summit on Ukraine, which will take place in Switzerland on June 15-16. He has already confirmed his participation in the event, reports TGRT Haber.

"We will represent our country at the Ukrainian Peace Summit in Switzerland," Fidan said.

He added that during the meeting, the Turkish delegation will share its views on achieving a just peace in Ukraine.

Global Peace Summit

The Global Peace Summit will take place on June 15-16 in Switzerland. It will be dedicated to discussing the peace formula proposed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Ukraine and Switzerland have invited 160 countries to the Peace Summit, but not all of them have confirmed their participation yet, and some countries have declined altogether.

Approximately 90 countries have confirmed their participation in the Summit, although some delegations will not be represented at the highest level.
