NASCAR Iowa Corn 350: Betting lines for the entire field to win at Iowa Speedway

The NASCAR Cup Series is headed to Iowa Speedway for their debut at the track in what should be a torrid affair this weekend during the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol.

Leading the charge into Iowa is none other than Kyle Larson, who’s coming off an awesome victory during the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Race last Sunday. A myriad of other drivers will be looking to get the win in Iowa though, with Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Christopher Bell, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. biting at Larson’s heels.

We’re inching closer and closer to the playoffs with each passing weekend, and there’s only so many spots available, with those reliant on points in danger of being pushed out if they can’t get to victory lane this summer. With that in mind, here are the full betting line for the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Christopher Bell (+400)

After winning the Coca-Cola 600 but falling short during last weekend’s race at Illinois, Christopher Bell was hoping to notch another victory on the 2024 season in Sonoma. While he wasn’t able to get the job done on the road course, Bell still finished in the top ten, capturing a P9 finish.

Regardless, Bell’s two victories has him in prime position to contend for his first Cup Series title in 2024. Utilizing the experience he’s gained from making the Championship 4 over the last two seasons, perhaps a fruitful summer and fall are on the horizon for the No. 20.

Kyle Larson (+550)

With the saga pertaining to whether or not he’d receive a playoff waiver put behind him, Kyle Larson was finally able to race with a clear mind. That was bad news for the rest of the field, as Larson captured his third win of the season at Sonoma Raceway.

Following the win, Larson took over the lead in both the playoff standings and overall standings. In search of his second Cup Series title, it’s easy to see why the Hendrick Motorsports star is considered the favorite among many drivers, fans and media members alike.

Denny Hamlin (+700)

While disappointment was the name of the game for some of NASCAR’s best in Sonoma, nobody went through it earlier and in grander fashion than Denny Hamlin. The No. 11 wheelman ended up finishing dead last on the afternoon, blowing an engine in the first couple of laps.

Adding insult to injury is the fact that Hamlin lost the points lead to Kyle Larson, with the Hendrick Motorsports star winning the race, while Hamlin came home last. We’ll see if Hamlin can get back on the horse and have a better afternoon in Iowa this weekend.

Ryan Blaney (+850)

It hasn’t been a fun last month and change for Ryan Blaney, and that was highlighted more than ever in Illinois last weekend. He was hoping to forget about running out of gas and losing a victory when the Cup Series went to Sonoma, and Blaney was able to do it, finishing P7 on the afternoon.

The fact of the matter remains that Blaney still doesn’t have a win after winning the Cup Series title in 2023. He’s been better as of late, but he’s only 64 points to the good at the moment. That could be gone in a moments notice if he’s not careful over the summer.

Martin Truex Jr. (+900)

Martin Truex Jr. had victory lane in his sights when the calendar turned to Sonoma, as he looked to go back-to-back in California. However, it wasn’t meant to be, and things went from disappointing to demoralizing for Truex Jr. on the final lap, as he ran out of gas and lost a top five finish.

Even with the missed opportunity in Sonoma, Truex Jr. is still the top driver without a win in the Cup Series playoff standings. He’s 128 points to the good, but a win in Iowa would make the No. 19 wheelman feel much better over the course of the summer.

Joey Logano (+1000)

A victory at Iowa would be exactly what Joey Logano needs to jumpstart his 2024. It’s been an up and down season for the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, and Sonoma Raceway was more of the latter, as the No. 22 finished P21 on the afternoon.

In a surprising twist, Austin Cindric remains the only Team Penske wheelman with a victory on the season. Perhaps Logano or his aforementioned teammate in Ryan Blaney can change that in Iowa, and clinch their spot in the playoffs.

William Byron (+1100)

William Byron had success at a road course earlier this season, dominating at COTA, so there was precedent for him to have a solid afternoon in Sonoma. However, that wasn’t the case on Sunday, as Byron finished P30 in disappointing fashion.

While Byron started the season like gangbusters, he’s fallen a bit over the last month and change. Still, the No. 24 has three wins on the season, and he’ll be looking to add to that total throughout the summer, as he tries to win his first Cup Series title.

Ty Gibbs (+1100)

Many believed Ty Gibbs had an outside shot to be victorious in Sonoma, but it wasn’t to be for the young wheelman of the No. 54. Gibbs dealt with a mechanical issue, and he ended up finishing P37, one spot ahead of Denny Hamlin, who blew his engine in the first couple of laps.

While Gibbs has run near the front throughout his season-and-a-half in the Cup Series, his first win has eluded him thus far. It’s been a challenge, but he’s among the top contenders entering Iowa Speedway, at least according to FanDuel.

Alas, Christopher Bell being the favorite is no surprise, as it would be his third win of the 2024 campaign, which would match him with two of the other top drivers in the series in Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin.
