Last month, the Tom Brady Roast on Netflix dominated social media. Clips of former teammates and celebrities making jokes at the former NFL star’s expense quickly went viral, although he didn’t seem too happy with some of the material.

Wednesday, he had the opportunity to turn the tables with some help from Bill Burr.

Burr stepped up during Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony to roast some of the GOAT’s former teammates and friends. Josh Allen, Peyton Manning and Julian Edelman were all caught in the crosshairs as he delivered plenty of laughs.

“Oh, look at Josh Allen. Look at him. Tom Brady just explained the Cover 2 defense to him,” Burr said as a picture of Brady and Allen on the golf course showed up. “He’s like, ‘Oh, I just run or throw it to someone on the other side of the field. I don’t care.’ He’s from Wyoming, he’s just happy to see an ocean.

“This is my favorite gig ever, by the way.”

After taking aim at Edelman and Jimmy Fallon, who both sat next to Brady at an event, Burr then turned to Manning – who made a surprise appearance at the event. A picture of the former Indianapolis Colts star and Brady in their young years showed up, and Burr didn’t hold back.

“Oh, the great Peyton Manning. What a class act coming out tonight. … Unfortunately, this photo is proof that God does not love everybody. Some people he takes his time on, other people he just kind of slaps them together.

“I think the angels were like, ‘God, you realize that’s a baby giraffe neck? You do realize that, right?’ And he was like, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll just put him in the woods of Louisiana with all my other mistakes.'”
