Donald Trump ‘could have Bugs Bunny’ as VP pick and STILL win, says Brandon Tatum

Donald Trump’s choice of running mate is irrelevant as he will win regardless, according to US political commentator Brandon Tatum.

Trump has teased his supporters with a lengthy shortlist but we may have to wait weeks before we find out his candidate of choice.

According to ex-police officer Tatum, the 77-year-old’s pick is not something Americans are concerned about.

“I don’t think he has to have anybody”, he told GBN America.

“Nobody cares, to be honest. It’s all about Donald Trump. He could have Bugs Bunny as Vice President, he is still going to win the election.

“I think there is some merit to making sure the optics are consistent with battling the Democrats. They have used Joe Biden as the career politician and Kamala Harris, who is the worst vice president in American history.

“But, she’s black. So they’re able to use the female card and the victim black card.

“If Trump can maximise this opportunity by challenging what they’re bringing to the table with the female and a minority female, I think he can battle the people who are caught up in the spectrum of visualised propaganda.

“Most Americans are not, but if we want to battle it, we could fight fire with fire when it comes to the Democrats.”

Trump has said he plans to announce his vice president candidate at the Republican National Convention in July.

According to NBC News, contenders Trump has in mind recently received vetting materials.

His search is said to be focused on candidates such as North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida, Tim Scott of South Carolina and JD Vance of Ohio.

Trump’s former vice president, Mike Pence, eventually turned against his boss after rioters stormed the US Capitol bidding to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The former president painted Pence as a traitor, saying he “didn’t have the courage to do what he should have done to protect our country and our constitution” in a post to X, formerly Twitter.
