Argentina has joined the Ukraine Defense Contact Group. About 50 countries are members of the Ramstein Group, says US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at the opening of the Ramstein meeting.
"Fortunately, support for Ukraine is growing and not weighing. In fact, I'm pleased to welcome Argentina as a new member,” the Pentagon chief said.
Today, June 13, the 23rd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group is taking place at NATO headquarters in Brussels. Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov is attending the meeting.

Argentina's assistance
Argentina has become more active in supporting Ukraine after the re-election of the president. The country's new leader, Javier Milei, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and promised support. At Zelenskyy's request, Milei will also take part in the peace summit.
According to the Financial Times, Argentina has handed over Mi-171E helicopters, purchased from Russia.
According to media reports, Argentina is discussing with France the transfer of Super Etendard aircraft to Ukraine, which are not used due to the British embargo.
