Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker didn’t live together before baby Rocky was born. She explains how the dynamic works for the couple on The Kardashians, as she and her children moved into his place while her home was renovated.
With the arrival of baby Rocky, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s lives changed forever. But when they weren’t living together, he’d make her matcha at his place by 7am every day.
Travis Barker put Kourtney’s matcha first
Travis Barker would always make Kourtney her morning matcha at 7am, every single day. She would carpool every morning after waking up at 6am, and drive to his place in the next block.
“There’s still nights when we’ll stay at each other’s houses in between,” Kourtney clarified on the Not Skinny Not Fat podcast in 2022. “But I get up at six in the morning and I carpool every morning.”
“And then I go straight to his house and have matcha, he has it ready for me. And then we have matcha and talk and hang out and work out together and then we start our day,” she added.
They didn’t live together before having Rocky
Kourtney and Travis didn’t live together before baby Rocky was born, but she did eventually move into his place. They were keeping their own homes separate as they discussed blending their families.
“Travis and I have really been taking our time with figuring out where it makes sense for us to live together because the kids are all so comfortable in their spaces,” Kourtney explained.
She added, “But it feels like we kind of figured out a plan for now. So we’re going to move into his house, which is a block away, and then redo my house at the same time so that we can all be together.”
She had one priority before birth
Kourtney had no shame in telling her mom, Kris Jenner, that she needed to have one last intimate moment with Travis before she would not be able to for six weeks post-birth.
It came as Kris asked what her daughter would do if she suddenly went into labor. Kourtney said she’s “not ready” for that reason, which left her mother completely shocked at her honesty.
At the time, Travis was still on tour, but was planning to be home in time for his wife’s due date. We have no doubt the married couple managed to have their one last moment before baby Rocky!
