Poland does not want to move the US Patriot air defense system to Ukraine. Warsaw considers such a step dangerous, according to the head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, Jacek Siewiera.

When asked whether it was necessary to send American Patriots to Ukraine, he replied: "Definitely not".

The head of the National Security Bureau also said that the information from the US media about the transfer of the Patriot battery is concerning.

"I asked for a meeting with my counterpart to discuss this issue," Siewiera said.

In his opinion, transferring the Patriot battery to Ukraine is very dangerous and reduces the security of Poland.

He added that over the past two years, Poland's airspace has been violated three times, and this has claimed the lives of two citizens. The politician also reminded that most of the military aid for Ukraine passes through Polish territory.
