Donald Trump has attacked numerous Democrats along the way, but the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee is especially disdainful of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California). Trump, calling her a "crazed lunatic," has even joked about the violent attack on her husband Paul Pelosi by a hammer-wielding assailant who broke into their San Francisco home.

Punchbowl News' Jake Sherman, in an post on X, formerly Twitter, on June 13, described some bizarre comments on the former speaker that Trump made during a conversation with House Republicans.

Sherman paraphrased Trump as saying, "Nancy Pelosi's daughter is a whacko, her daughter told me if things were different Nancy and I would be perfect together, there's an age difference though."

Nancy Pelosi's daughter Christine Pelosi was quick to respond to Sherman's tweet and had some scathing comments for Trump.

Christine Pelosi tweeted, "Speaking for all 4 Pelosi daughters — this is a LIE. His deceitful, deranged obsession with our mother is yet another reason Donald Trump is unwell, unhinged and unfit to step foot anywhere near her — or the White House."

Nick Knudsen, executive director of the nonprofit DemCastUSA, had a biting response as well.

Knudsen tweeted, "There is no explanation for the verbal diarrhea that comes out of Trump's mouth other than that he is completely insane."
