Rio Ferdinand has dropped his verdict on who he thinks is the superior right-back out of Kyle Walker and Gary Neville.
During his 12 years at Manchester United, Ferdinand featured in 175 games with Neville across all competitions.
Then on the international stage, the former United defenders played in 24 England games together.
Focusing on Walker, the 34-year-old now has 395 Premier League appearances to his name, as well as 83 caps for the England national team.
The City captain is now set to feature for Gareth Southgate’s side in the European Championship in Germany.
Ahead of the tournament, Ferdinand found himself making a decision about who he feels is the best right-back out of Neville and Walker.

In a recent video shared on the Daily Mail Sport TikTok channel, Ferdinand was asked to pick between players from the mid-2000s England squad and the current England team.
When asked to pick either Neville or Walker for his ultimate England XI, the former centre-half chose the City star ahead of his United teammate.

With almost seven years now under his belt at the Manchester club, Walker has made 301 appearances for the Citizens in all competitions, winning six Premier League titles and numerous other domestic and European trophies along the way.
In terms of how he compares to Neville, the former United star said just over a year ago that while he feels he read the game better than Walker does, he also said that the 34-year-old is the best one-v-one defender in the world.
Regarding the number of trophies won, Neville lifted 12 Premier League titles in 19 years with United, whereas Walker lifted six in seven with City.
While both players have certainly enjoyed impressive club careers, we find it surprising that Ferdinand picked the City captain over his former United teammate given the obvious connections he has with Neville.
This, therefore, highlights just how much the former United centre-back admires Walker and what he offers his team on the pitch.
