TY Hilton’s son Eugene Hilton Jr. commits to Wisconsin

Zionsville (Ind.) High receiver Eugene Hilton Jr. announced his commitment to head coach Luke Fickell and Wisconsin on Friday afternoon.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Hilton took his official visit to Madison the weekend prior.

“I think the atmosphere, the people and kind of what they believe in as a program,” Hilton said of what caught his eye.

“It means a lot to me. Not just me, my family as well to know that they check off the boxes and then some more.

It just feels right, feels like home.”

Hilton becomes commit No. 19 for the Badgers in the 2025 class, adding to a haul that previously ranked No. 21 nationally.

“Something that also stands out is how many guys Coach Fickell has put in the league,” Hilton said. “They’re willing and want to win and building up that program.”

Hilton has been up to Madison a couple times including a game last fall.

“Kind of just the place itself,” Hilton said. “That sparked a big interest in me and my family. Just being in Madison for the weekend.”

In 10 games as a junior Hilton turned 46 receptions into 836 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also added a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Hilton spoke highly of the official visit earlier in the week.

“It was great, learned a lot about the school,” Hilton said.

“Big takeaways is the direction they want to go with the program. You know what their core values are. Another big takeaway is getting to be around and get to know all the coaches and players and see the environment.”

Hilton’s father T.Y. Hilton was a third round NFL Draft Pick that played 10 seasons in the league, was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and led the NFL in receiving yards in 2016.
