Rob Dillingham better get his suit ready — he’s going to the NBA Draft.

Previously ineligible with final athletic testing and shooting drills required before being cleared, the former Kentucky star completed those requirements on Friday at the Lakers practice facility and has now been invited to the green room on draft night.

An ankle injury kept him from participating at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago back in May. Now healthy, Dillingham checked those remaining boxes and will now walk across the stage in Brooklyn on June 26 as a likely top-10 selection. He’ll be joining fellow former Kentucky star Reed Sheppard in the green room.

Dillingham’s invitation went out early Friday evening, joining the likes of Duke’s Kyle Filipowski, Kansas’ Johnny Furphy, Baylor’s Yves Missi, USC’s Isaiah Collier, Miami’s Kyshawn George, Duke’s Jared McCain and Serbia’s Nikola Topic. They join Sheppard, Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr, Donovan Clingan, Matas Buzelis, Stephon Castle, Dalton Knecht, Tidjane Salaun, Ron Holland, Cody Williams, Devin Carter and Ja’Kobe Walter as players set to attend the draft.

The former Wildcat is rated as the No. 7 overall prospect in ESPN’s latest big board of top 100 players, Jonathan Givony calling him “the best ball-handler in this class.”

Dillingham and Sheppard will be representing the Wildcats well in Brooklyn.
