Former President Donald Trump took a swipe at First Lady Jill Biden during his 78th birthday celebration in West Palm Beach on Friday, in particular complaining about how much she travels.

"His wife flew back and forth like it was a taxicab," said Trump. "It's Air Force One and/or Air Force Two. I mean, just back and forth, back and forth, let's go, let's go, sit in a trial for a day, go back, forth, back forth. It's really terrible."

Commenters on social media quickly mocked Trump, with many speculating he's likely just jealous that his own former First Lady, Melania Trump, hasn't been jetting around the country to accompany him when he wanted her by his side.

"He's just upset that Melania doesn't want to be anywhere near him," posted freelance writer Alex Cole.

"Where's your wife Melania?" asked the account @A_tothe_Z_Amber. "Oh yeah, no where to be seen anywhere near you in court or on the campaign trail."

"He's fuming with jealousy over not having a wife who would show up and stand by him during his trial," wrote @Nto79549105.

Jill Biden frequently travels with the president. In an upcoming event, she plans to travel with him to Southern California for a fundraiser. In contrast to the Bidens, Melania Trump has rarely been seen in public or with her husband since they left the White House, either at his campaign functions or at his legal trials. She has not even publicly commented on Trump's birthday celebration.

Sources in Trump's orbit insist she still supports him; however, her absence was particularly conspicuous during Trump's criminal hush money trial in Manhattan, where he was convicted on 34 charges of falsifying business records to cover up an extramarital affair he had while she was pregnant with his child.
