Prince Louis delights royal fans with his dancing and yawns at Trooping the Colour

Prince Louis delighted royal fans on the Buckingham Palace balcony today during Trooping the Colour.

The six-year-old could be seen moving his arms during the National Anthem, with his older sister Princess Charlotte seemingly telling him off.

The young prince is renowned for his hilarious facial expressions and actions during public family gatherings.

Louis first gained notoriety for his cheeky behaviour during the 2022 Platinum Jubilee pageant, where he covered his mother Princess Kate's face with his hand and made hilarious hand gestures towards the cameras.

Earlier today during the monarch's birthday parade, Prince Louis was seen yawning and dancing in front of his mother, Princess Kate.

The cheeky prince waited patiently with his siblings Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, nine, to watch the King’s birthday celebration parade from the window of the Duke of Wellington’s former office.

But, the young royal appeared to amuse himself with his surroundings and found great entertainment in dancing as the crowds cheered below.

Princess Charlotte, nine, attempted to speak to Louis as he shuffled from foot to foot, while Prince George and the Princess of Wales stood behind.

The well-entertained prince was also the spectacle of last year’s Trooping of the Colour celebration.

Prince Louis pulled several hilarious faces at the Red Arrows flypast and imitated driving one of the planes.

While awaiting this year’s display, Prince Louis yawned and also turned his attention to one of the window’s curtain cords.

Today was the Princess of Wales’s first public appearance since she announced her preventative cancer treatment earlier this year.
