Russia's participation in second summit possible, but no compromises expected: Zelenskyy's Office

Ukraine is ready to present a peace plan to Russia, but this will happen after the conclusion of the Peace Summit taking place in Switzerland, states by the Head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, in an interview with Channel 24.

According to Yermak, based on the results of this meeting, Ukraine will not compromise on the country's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

"Tomorrow, we, the leaders, will discuss the principles of a future joint plan, which will be based on the formula proposed by the Ukrainian side. However, we are very honest and ready to discuss all opinions from responsible and civilized countries," he said.

He noted that only through this will Ukraine's peace plan be fully prepared. Yermak also mentioned that currently, the Ukrainian side is seeking an opportunity to present this plan to representatives of Russia.

"We believe this could happen at the second summit," emphasized Yermak.

Peace Summit in Switzerland

This weekend, Switzerland is hosting a Peace Summit organized by Ukraine, based on the Ukrainian peace formula proposed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The event has gathered representatives from various countries, international organizations, and experts to promote diplomatic dialogue and peace-building.
