Princess Charlotte beams in stylish navy sailor dress to join Kate, George and Louis

Princess Charlotte beamed in a stylish navy sailor dress to join Princess Kate, Prince George and Prince Louis today.

The princess, nine, wore a very similar dress to last year's Trooping the Colour ceremony, as both were inspired by a sailor's outfit.

However, Charlotte opted for a navy dress with white accents today, as opposed to a white dress with red accents.

The dress appeared to complement the Princess of Wales's outfit, which was white with black accents.

Princess Charlotte also followed the current bow trend which is popular at the moment, with a statement white ribbon in her hair and another one on her navy nautical dress.

She finished this year’s outfit with white Mary Jane flats.

Her mother, Princess Kate, wore white heels with her own Jenny Packham dress.

This made for an adorable mother-daughter matching fashion moment.

In the carriage, Charlotte was joined by her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.

All three Wales children matched each other with their stylish navy looks.

Royal fans loved Charlotte's outfit today and took to social media to praise the nine-year-old's style.

One said: "The three of them in line with matching outfits, and especially Charlotte's dress, reminded me of the Von Trapp kids in The Sound of Music. They are too cute. And matching with Catherine was just perfection!"
