Report: Tottenham are now ready to bid for an attacker who’s even faster than Phil Foden

Tottenham Hotspur need to add some more attacking talent to their ranks this summer.

Spurs may have started last season brilliantly, but towards the end of the campaign they really struggled to make much happen.

Ange Postecoglou made it clear that he wants wholesale changes in the summer, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham are now ready to make a bid for a very exciting attacking player.

Tottenham ready to bid for Takefusa Kubo

According to Mundo Deportivo, Spurs are ready to make a bid for Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo.

The Japan international is a signing who could be right up Ange Postecoglou’s street.

As many will know, Postecoglou is a big fan of working with players from Japan – he turned the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate into stars at Celtic, and he could do the same for Kubo at Tottenham.

Kubo has been shining for Real Sociedad in recent years, hitting double figures in terms of goal contributions in each of his last two league seasons.

At the age of just 23, this is a young man with bags of potential, and he’s a very exciting player to say the least.

Takefusa Kubo an exciting player

Kubo would be one of Spurs’ most exciting signings of the summer if Tottenham were to get this one over the line.

The winger is such an exciting player. He’s someone who loves to dribble and loves to drive at defences, while his speed is also a key element of his game.

Indeed, according to The Speeds Database, Kubo is one of the quicker players in Europe. In fact, his highest top speed has been clocked higher than Phil Foden’s top speed for Manchester City, and it’s fair to say the England international is no slouch.

Kubo would be an exciting signing for Tottenham, and Spurs’ frontline would be incredibly entertaining if they got this move over the line.
