As of 22:00 on Saturday, June 15, there were 91 combat engagements on the front lines. Throughout the day, the most intense situation remained in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
Overall, Russian forces launched two missile strikes and 39 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, employing 48 guided bombs and deploying 423 kamikaze drones.
The enemy also carried out more than 3,000 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements using various types of weaponry.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted six enemy attempts to improve their positions in the areas of Vovchansk and Tykhe.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the total number of combat engagements increased to 15. The enemy attempted to dislodge the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Andriivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske, and the Serebrianske Forestry. Twelve attacks have been repelled, and three combat engagements are ongoing in the Hrekivka and Nevske areas. The situation remains under the control of Ukrainian defenders.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made four unsuccessful attempts to attack our positions in the areas of Verkhniokamianske and Rozdolivka.
Four attempts to dislodge our defenders in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Klishchiivkain the Kramatorsk direction were also unsuccessful.
The situation remains intense in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the beginning of the day, the number of combat engagements has increased to 33. The enemy's highest activity is observed in the area of Ocheretyne. The enemy continues its attempts to infiltrate our positions near Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, Karlivka, and Umanske. The defense forces have already repelled 25 Russian attacks, and eight battles are still ongoing.
According to preliminary information, the losses of the Russian army on this front during the current day amount to 232 soldiers, including 86 fatalities. One combat armored vehicle, two mortars, and five vehicles have been destroyed. Three cannons, one mortar, and one vehicle have been damaged.
In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy conducted 11 assault operations in the areas of Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Pobieda, Paraskeviiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Kostiantynivka. Currently, nine attacks have been successfully repelled. The situation remains tense in the area of Krasnohorivka, where two combat engagements are ongoing. The defense forces are taking measures to prevent the advancement of the Russian army into the territory of Ukraine.
Compared with the previous day, the activity of the Russian armyin the Vremivka direction has tripled. Today, the enemy has attempted to storm the front line ten times in the areas of Vodyane, Urozhaine, and Staramayorske. The situation is tense, and measures are being taken to stabilize it.
In the Orikhiv direction, three enemy attacks in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne were unsuccessful. There have been no losses of positions or territories.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, another attempt by the enemy to attack the positions of our soldiers in the area of Krynyky has failed.
There have been no significant changes in the situation on the rest of the fronts.
Over the past day, a third of Russian assaults have targeted the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding their defense firmly there.
