Staff at RSPCA’s Eau Brink rehoming centre in Tilney All Saints trying to find a family for 8-year-old Mitch

In our weekly Paws For Thought column, we feature 8-year-old Mitch…

Eight-year-old Mitch came to the centre via the inspector. He’s not had a nice life and this troubled little man found it hard to trust people.

Staff have been trying hard to reassure Mitch that no one will hurt him again. We’ve had him for a while now and he really is starting to be a happy character, and struts around the centre like he owns it!

Can you give Mitch a home?

He likes seeing what’s going on and greeting people in his funny little way. Mitch has shown us he likes affection on his own terms but still has days where he can be grumpy, so we would ask for people with dog experience who can recognise when he wants to be left alone.

We would also ask for a quiet home with no visiting children. We have hopes Mitch will really find that special someone who has time and patience.
