Joint declaration following the summit: What is known

In Switzerland, the Peace Summit continues for the second consecutive day, with participation from over 100 attendees. Representatives of countries and organizations have signed a joint declaration at the conclusion of the event.

According to Reuters, the draft communique emphasized three key points: the return of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant under Ukrainian control, free access to the Black and Azov Seas, and the release and return of all detainees and deportees to Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized that countries could join the signed declaration even after the conclusion of the first summit. Therefore, an increase in the number of signatories remains possible.
