Jaime Ferrer drills 3-run bomb to cement 6-0 lead over UVA in CWS elimination game

Few players have been hotter at the 2024 Men’s College World Series than Florida State outfielder Jaime Ferrer, and he flexed some impressive offensive muscle to blow open an elimination game against Virginia on Sunday.

With his second home run of the game and third at the 2024 CWS, Ferrer plated a trio of runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to double Florida State’s lead, putting the Seminoles ahead, 6-0, in an elimination game. And it came on a 2-0 offspeed pitch that Ferrer launched into the left field bullpen for his second long ball of the day.
