"According to preliminary information, the enemy hit civilian infrastructure in the Poltava region," he said.

Pronin mentioned that there are casualties, and people might be trapped under the rubble of the building.

Before this, the Ukrainian Air Force had reported a high-speed target moving through the Sumy region towards the Poltava region.

Attacks on Poltava region

On June 7, a private house in the Poltava district was destroyed due to enemy shelling. Rescuers pulled a woman from the rubble, but unfortunately, she died in the hospital from her injuries.

This is not the first instance of Russian occupiers deliberately targeting Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
