Carrie Underwood and her family are safe after a fire that started in the family’s garage set flames to their home.
According to WKRN, the Williamson County Fire Rescue was called to the superstar’s Pinewood Road home Sunday night (June 16th).
The flames erupted around 9:40 PM. Due to the remote location, all eight of the county’s stations were sent to her home that sits west of Leiper’s Fork.
Once on the property, firefighter’s were able to tap into Underwood’s 10,000 gallon water tank that was already on the premises.
The Williamson County Fire and Rescue posted photos from the night, showing the crew in action as they successfully extinguished the fire.
According to the news station, the crew sat for several hours after the fire was out to make sure hot spots didn’t surface due to the fire getting into the walls.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported and all four family members and three pets successfully exited the premises.
Dinah Wade, a spokesperson with Williamson County Fire and Rescue shared that an off-road UTV parked by the garage was the source of the spark. Underwood’s team would later provide this statement to Taste of Country:
There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.
Wade also shared that although the odor of residual smoke is strong, there was no structural damage to the home.
The country star has yet to comment of the scary evening on her social platforms.
