Zelenskyy announces Ukraine's new steps after Peace Summit and reveals details

Ukraine is preparing new steps after the first Peace Summit held on June 15-16 in Switzerland, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President said that he had held a meeting following the Peace Summit. According to him, there was unprecedented unity of leaders at the summit, which was a success for Ukraine.

"But peace is always the path. New steps are needed," Zelenskyy said.

He clarified that Ukraine was preparing to engage other countries to join the final communiqué of the Peace Summit. Groups are also preparing to work on the points of the peace formula.

Zelenskyy said that there is already a preliminary work schedule for the summer months, and communication with partners is planned to be maintained at the same level.

"Ukraine never wanted this war, and naturally, it wants a just peace the most. And we see that it is possible. We are bringing peace closer," he noted.

President thanked all those who helped bring peace closer and defend Ukraine at the front.

Peace Summit

Ukraine and Switzerland held the first meeting on the peace formula at the level of leaders, where they discussed nuclear safety, food supplies, and the exchange of prisoners.

The summit resulted in a communiqué that included the three issues mentioned above.
