Ecumenical Patriarchate joins signatories of peace summit communiqué on Ukraine

The Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople has decided to join the signatories of the communiqué of the peace summit on Ukraine, which took place over the weekend, according to the website of the Swiss Federal Council.

On the page, it is indicated that the Ecumenical Patriarchate has appeared in the list of countries supporting the joint communiqué.

The Primate is the Archbishop of Constantinople, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Earlier, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew confirmed his participation in the global Peace Summit held in Switzerland.

Over the weekend, the first Peace Summit was held in Burgenstock. It was attended by more than 90 countries. In the future, it is planned to involve Russia to put an end to the war.
