Beforehand, she was a South Florida athletics administrator from 2016-2022. She was hired as an Associate Athletic Director for Compliance before advancing to a Senior Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator role in August of 2017.

New Husker Athletic Director Troy Dannen made a change at Nebraska’s Chief Operating Officer as well. He brought in Haven Fields, who he worked with briefly at Washington.

Nebraska Softball Coach Rhonda Revelle served as NU’s Woman Administrator from 2006-08 and could be a good option now. Pat Logsdon, who won the 2021-22 Dr. Barbara Hibner Trailblazer Award, served from 2008-21 before retiring. Armstead took over after Logsdon’s retirement.
