'For me to play': Neymar drops biggest hint yet on who he will play for in 2025, after Inter Miami links

Neymar has dropped his biggest hint yet over who he will be playing for in 2025 after transfer links to Inter Miami.

The Brazilian international has been rumored with a move to the Herons for quite some time, with soccer fans keen to see Neymar reunite with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez one last time in MLS with Inter Miami.

Whilst the Argentine himself has claimed he isn’t confident Neymar will join the Florida franchise in the near future, that hasn’t stopped speculation from dying down over the Al-Hilal forward’s future, even with a move unlikely this summer.

And Neymar has now issued a big hint over his future heading into 2025.

Neymar says he’ll play for Al-Hilal at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

Speaking to FIFA, the Brazilian international voiced his excitement about playing for Al-Hilal and next year’s revamped 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where the Saudi Arabian giants will take on some of the biggest clubs in soccer.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG have already booked their tickets into next year’s competition, due to take place in the United States, with Inter Miami still in with a very small chance of also making the tournament if selected to be America’s extra representative.

Yet Neymar now looks set to compete with and remain with Al-Hilal until the summer of 2025 at the earliest, with the winger saying: “It’s an honor for me to play the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, defending Al-Hilal.

“The best clubs in the world and the best athletes in the world will be there, and obviously, this is where Al Hilal and my teammates should be. The expectations for the tournament are huge, and I’m sure that we’ll be ready to represent our fans.”

Neymar to Inter Miami officially feels dead and buried

Neymar to Inter Miami always felt like an unlikely transfer, yet this update from the Brazilian superstar seems to guarantee that a deal is not happening anytime soon.

Whilst the dream of recreating the famous MSN trio in MLS is one that many soccer fans will want to see, it’s clear that Neymar is keen to play out his new life in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal.

Indeed, Neymar ruling out a move to Inter Miami is a bitter pill to swallow, yet with so many top players linked with a move to the Herons, an even more exciting name could soon make the switch to Florida.
