Dick Strawbridge has had to put his foot down with his children - Arthur, 11 and Dorothy, 10 - after they begged to be more involved in their tours upon their return to the UK.
For nine years, the Strawbridge family have been renovating their chateau since they took the plunge to move to France, as well as keeping their wedding business growing.
The couple landed their own Channel 4 show - Escape to the Chateau - where fans of the couple could see the progress they had made alongside picking up tips and tricks along the way.
After six years on the show, the family said their goodbyes and decided it was time to take things on the road and have been on many tours as a family, meeting their fans along the way.
The couple are set to take on their next tour and this time they are returning to the UK for their Forever Home UK 2024 Tour which kicks off in Adoree's home town in Southend-on-Sea later this year.
Strawbridge and Adoree appeared on Heart FM's Breakfast Show with Jamie Theakston and Davina McCall this week to discuss their upcoming return, but it came with a stern warning for their children.
Theakston quizzed the couple: "You’re also heading back to the UK after the summer’s done, on tour," to which Adoree replied: “We’ve got our Forever Home tour, and we take the children with us, and my mum and dad.”
The pair noted how much the children enjoyed the tours, but Strawbridge added: "They’re loving getting to see different people in different places, and, of course, we meet the family - we meet friends all over the place - and they’re getting up and chatting.
"In fact, Dorothy and Arthur just come along and say hello usually, and then they leave the stage. But, after the first time we did it, Dorothy said, 'Can we rewrite the tour so we’re on stage a little bit more please?'
"And this is from an eight-year-old," Adoree mused before revealing the parents' stern reaction: "I said, 'No' - they don’t get to do that!"
The radio hosts were also keen to hear how difficult they found it to leave the UK back in 2014 and start a new life in a new country.
Strawbridge explained: "We were ready for it! We’d been searching for four years to find a chateau and somewhere to move, and we were living in Southend, and Dorothy had just been born, and being ready for the move - it was easy.
"I couldn’t live in London, I’m a country boy, the country scared Angela, but France seemed to be a bit different…"
Adoree interjected: "I am a bit of a Londoner through and through, and if I was actually going to move anywhere, it had to be a beautiful big castle!"

The couple met back in 2010 through shared agent and friend, Sophie Laurimore, at a party and hit it off fairly quickly, sharing interests in several aspects of their lives.
However, there was a time when Adoree had to give Strawbridge an ultimatum after he attempted to end their relationship due to the distance between them.
Strawbridge recently told The Times: "My children were all grown-up and the sensible thing would have been for her to find somebody else, but she said she wanted me.
"That was the acknowledgment we were going to have a family. And soon. Angela gave me a calendar with 'Impregnate me by this date' written on it. [And] being efficient as we are, we were seven months ahead of our target having Arthur and Dorothy."
