Drake suffered another gigantic betting loss after the Boston Celtics comfortably defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.
The Canadian rapper has made a habit over the years of going big with the bookies in in F1, NFL, UFC and football among others.
UFC has been Drake's favoured sport to bet on as he's not been shy in putting millions on the line.
He saw a return of £3million after wagering £1.84m on Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann both to win in 2022.
Israel Adesanya also helped Drake win over half-a-million earlier that year only to lose £1.7m from the same fighter a few months later.
He was back at it earlier this month when he placed $500,000 in Bitcoin on the Mavericks to win the NBA Finals.
The bet would have returned $1.37m, but Dallas lost the three opening games of the Finals after Drake placed his huge wager.
The Mavericks avoided a whitewash over the weekend after a blowout win in their home arena.
However, the Celtics got the job done in Game 5 with Jayson Tatum finishing with 31 points and 11 assists.
That result saw Drake lose the full $500,000 bet and there's a chance he could double his losses.
He placed the exact same bet on the outcome of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers.
Drake opted for the Oilers, who subsequently went on to lose three-straight games before winning Game 4.
The Panthers are now just a single win away from their maiden NHL title and there's only been one occasion in NHL history that a team has lost in a best-of-seven Stanley Cup Final series having led 3-0.
Florida head coach Paul Maurice is hopeful the experienced players in his squad are able to get them over the line.
“The emotions of the team in pro sports are going to go up and down. That’s just a fact,” Maurice said.

“And the further you get into the playoffs the more emotion is there and sometimes the swings are greater.
“So, you rely on those veterans not to ignore the emotions or pretend like they’re not there, but just keep it in a fairly narrow band so we’re not swinging too high or too low.”
