Capitol Police investigate 'suspicious substance' in Senate office: report

The Capitol Police announced that they were investigating reports of a "suspicious substance" found in the Hart office building on Capitol Hill Tuesday.

Fox reporter Chad Pergram wrote that the substance was reportedly found near the office of Alaska Republican, Sen. Dan Sullivan.

"Staff and other personnel are directed to avoid this area until further notice," Pergram posted on X.

Neither the Capitol Police nor Sullivan's office has commented on social media about the matter.
