'Top': Brennan Johnson impressed after seeing what £26m Tottenham player did at Euro 2024

One Tottenham Hotspur player seems to have impressed Brennan Johnson after his fantastic performance at Euro 2024.

Not a single Spurs player is in the England squad at the Euros in Germany, but other countries have called up their players from Tottenham for the competition.

One of them became a star this week thanks to his incredible performance against a country who are ranked 24 places ahead of his own.

Johnson and many others are really impressed with his display.

Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson reacts after Radu Dragusin stars at Euro 2024

Tottenham signed Radu Dragusin in January 2024 for £26.7 million (Sky Sports).

The Romania international checked all the boxes that Ange Postecoglou was looking for, and he definitely has a huge future ahead of him.

However, Dragusin didn’t get as many opportunities as he would’ve liked at Tottenham in the 2023/24 season. He started just four games for the North Londoners.

For Romania, however, Dragusin was always going to be a regular starter, and he got the nod against Ukraine on Monday.

Dragusin was absolutely outstanding in that game.

Romania weren’t the favourites to win the game by any means, but they absolutely battered the Ukrainians. Dragusin didn’t allow the opposition attackers to get anywhere near the goal.

We’ve already told you how James Maddison reacted to Dragusin’s performance against Ukraine.

Now, after the defender posted a few pictures from the game on Instagram, a seemingly impressed Johnson has delivered his verdict on his display.

“Top,” he commented below Dragusin’s post.

Dragusin’s stats vs Ukraine are so impressive

After watching Dragusin’s performance against Ukraine, many Tottenham fans are desperate to see him play more regularly at club level.

The 22-year-old is a terrific defender and if given regular opportunities, he has what it takes to become a huge star in this Spurs side.

For Romano in their Euro 2024 opener, Dragusin made 10 clearances! He also made a tackle and blocked two shots, and won three of his four attempted duels.

On the ball, Dragusin had 33 touches and maintained a very healthy 89 per cent passing accuracy (Sofascore).

Nobody expected Romania to qualify for the next round of the Euros, but after both Ukraine and Belgium suffered defeats in their opening games, there is every chance Dragusin will lead his country to the knockout stage of the competition.
